Jamila Hamid

Mrs. Jamila Hamid has been a dedicated member of Nur Islamic School of Louisville since 2007. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Islamic Studies and Language Arts, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Passionate about food and hospitality, Mrs. Hamid is known for her love of cooking and sharing meals. During Ramadan, she enjoys preparing Iftar for the Guiding Light Center, further exemplifying her commitment to community service. Recently, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of starting a catering company, which she runs part-time when not contributing her culinary talents to the school.
