Salma Darai

Mrs. Salma Darai joined Nur Islamic School of Louisville in August 2022 as an Early Childhood Center (ECC) teacher and became a member of the administrative team in January 2023. Originally from Morocco, she holds two years of college education in English Studies from University Moulay Ismail in Meknes, Morocco, an Associate degree in Software Development and Management. Mrs. Darai brings a diverse background, having taught English and Computer Science to preschool through fifth grade in Marrakech, Morocco, and gained extensive experience in business, accounting, marketing, management, and international trade. Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, she is also the proud mother of two daughters who attend Nur Islamic School of Louisville. Mrs. Darai firmly believes that teaching is the cornerstone of all other professions, requiring dedication and passion to shape young minds. For her, the hard work of teaching transforms into a profound sense of pride and accomplishment. She views her role at Green Tree Academy as a rewarding chapter in her career and is committed to making it a long-lasting experience.
