Fouzia Shaikh

Mrs. Fouzia Shaikh has been an integral part of Nur Islamic School of Louisville since 2009. She is currently pursuing an Associate’s degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education at Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) and holds a Kentucky Director’s Credential. In addition to her educational achievements, Mrs. Shaikh has memorized the entire Quran and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies from Buffalo, New York. Her extensive teaching experience spans various subjects and grade levels from Pre-K to eighth grade, and she has played a key role in organizing numerous school and community events. Mrs. Shaikh founded the Parent-Teacher Association at the school and successfully led several school-wide initiatives. In November 2017, she was appointed Assistant Director of the Early Childhood Center and was promoted to Director within a year. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
